Not included: hosting, website repairs or fixes we perform for you, unlimited support, security certification or “secure site” badges, any guarantee that every issue will be found, or testing of forms, logins, payments, or email delivery.

Results are automated and advisory. You decide what to fix and how.

3. Authorization and your responsibilities

You must own the website you submit or have clear permission from the owner to have it tested.

You agree that:

If we reasonably believe a check was unauthorized, we may refuse or cancel the job. Refunds, if any, follow our Refund Policy.

We may refuse, suspend, or cancel service for misuse.

5. Payments and refunds

Price is $149 unless we state otherwise at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe. Our Refund Policy (separate page) covers failed jobs, late delivery, and limited exceptions after delivery. If we cannot complete the check after retries, you get an automatic full refund.

6. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the report will find every issue, that suggestions are complete or error-free, or that your site is secure, compliant, or ready to launch. Automated checks can miss problems; they are not a substitute for professional security, accessibility, legal, or QA review.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Proofday and Steven Jackson are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for that Website Launch Check (typically $149).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Wisconsin have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version posted on the Proofday site applies to new purchases after the update. Material changes will be noted by updating the “last updated” date (and, when practical, a notice on the site).
